One of the most popular beaches is in Kamari, at the south east coast of Santorini. The famous black sand stretching out for miles and a beachfront dotted with restaurants and bars make it an attractive destination.
Just a short distance from Imerovigli is Vourvoulos beach. The black sand coastline weaves through the more undisturbed beauty of the north east coast of the island. A few facilities ensure the basic comfort of visitors.
Simply named the Red beach is one of the most beautiful beaches to be found in the Aegean Sea. Close to Akrotiri in the south is a small bay nestled besides soaring red lava cliffs with terracotta coloured sand that disappears into the crystal clear turquoise water. The short walk to the beach is a small effort for the reward of an amazing view.
